My Story
ABOUT ANGIE (WHO I AM)
In 2008, Angie set out on a bold adventure, transplanting herself to Virginia, a place where the unfamiliarity initially made life feel a bit lackluster. Determined to infuse excitement into her days, she embarked on a journey of discovery through the world of books. These pages became her passport to knowledge and entertainment, especially those penned by the captivating author Patricia Cornwell. From gripping suspense to tantalizing mysteries and the captivating history of her new town, Angie immersed herself in literature that echoed her inquisitive spirit.
Beyond the world of books, Angie finds joy in the symphony of life's experiences. She's a lover of music, relishing the beats that move her soul. Whether it's the thrill of venturing out, the serenity of a long bike ride or leisurely walks, or the freedom of hitting the open road, Angie thrives in the beauty of exploration and movement.
Yet, amidst her love for the outdoors, Angie cherishes quieter moments too. A good documentary can captivate her for hours, a compelling movie can transport her to different worlds, and a meaningful conversation can light up her day.
Angie is a mosaic of passions and interests, a tapestry woven with the threads of curiosity, love for literature, a zest for life's adventures, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys that make each day remarkable. Join her in exploring the boundless world of knowledge, the thrill of discovery, and the warmth of engaging conversations.
WHY DID I PICK THIS AUTHOR TO START WITH:
I chose this author because I have always been intrigued by medical science, how a medical examiner could tell how and when a person died even when they could not speak for themselves. What also interested me is when I found out that the very town I had Iived in, and hospital that I had once went to, was near the bio chemistry lab that she did her main work in. It made me want to read more of her novels and as I discovered what had went on in my town. It was hard for me to have imagined, to the best of my knowledge her novels are true and these things did take place. Virginia is a place of many secrets and I look forward to discovering some of them with you.
